A. Safety Precautions
(1)
Put the safety barriers in position.
(2)
Make sure that the ground safety locks are on the landing gear (Ref. TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(3)
On panel 400VU:
-Make sure that the landing-gear control-lever 6GA is in the DOWN position.
-Put a warning notice in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear.
(4)
On panel 110VU:
-Make sure that the free-fall extension-control-handle is in the normal position.
(5)
Put a warning notice in position to tell persons not to pressurize the hydraulic systems.

B. Depressurization of the Applicable Hydraulic System(s)
(1)
Depressurize the Green hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2)
Depressurize the applicable hydraulic reservoirs (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001).

A. Removal of the Normal Brake-Return Check-Valve WARNING : DO NOT LET OIL STAY ON YOUR SKIN FOR A LONG TIME AS IT CAN

CAUSE INJURY.
CAUTION : MAKE SURE THAT THE FLUID DOES NOT STAY ON THE AIRCRAFT
_______ STRUCTURE. IF THE FLUID GETS ON THE AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE, WASH IT OFF IMMEDIATELY WITH SOAP AND WATER.
(1)
Loosen and disconnect the coupling nut (2).
(2)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
(3)
Remove the check valve (3) from the manifold (5).
(4)
Remove and discard the O-ring (4) from the check valve (3).
(5)
Put blanking caps on the open ports of the check valve (3) and the manifold (5).
