(1) Make sure that the warning notices are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system: - on the panel 40VU in the cockpit, - on the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.

(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.

4. Procedure

A. Installation of the Accumulator Pressure Gage 2585GM
(1)
Remove the blanking plugs.
(2)
Install the gage (6) on the adapter (4).
(3)
TORQUE the nut (5) to between 1.54 and 1.65 m.daN (11.35 and 12.16 lbf.ft).
WARNING : WEAR GOGGLES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL THE LOCKWIRE. CUT,
_______ REMOVE AND DISCARD THE LOCKWIRE AS YOU DO THE TASK. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT OR BLIND YOU.
(4) Safety the nut (5) with corrosion-resistant steel lockwire 0.8 mm
(0.032 in.) dia.

Connect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. TASK 29-23-00-860-002). Subtask 32-44-14-614-050
B.
Fill the accumulator (1) with nitrogen (Ref. TASK 12-14-32-614-002). Subtask 32-44-14-210-051
C. Visual Inspection
(1)
Make sure that there are no leaks.
(2)
Make sure that the pressure in the accumulator is stable.
(3)
Make sure that the cap (2) is installed on the charging valve (3). Subtask 32-44-14-865-052
D. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 3700GD, 3701GD, 3801GX, 3802GX, 3803GX, 1GG, 2GG, 3GG, 4GG, 61GG, 70GG, 71GG.
