A. Removal of the Dual Shuttle Valve 2578GM (4)

(1)
Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2)
Disconnect the connector (1).
(3)
Disconnect the connectors (7), (8), (10) and (11) from the dual shuttle valve (4).
(4)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
(5)
Remove the bolts (6) and the washers (5) and remove the dual shuttle valve (4) from the aircraft.
(6)
Remove and retain the unions (9) and the reducers (2) from the removed dual shuttle valve 2578GG (4).

(7) Remove and discard the packings (3) from the reducers (2) and the unions (9).

Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2)
Disconnect the connector (1).
(3)
Disconnect the connectors (7), (8), (10) from the dual shuttle valve 2578GM (4).
(4)
Disconnect the connector (13).
(5)
If necessary disconnect the connector (12) and remove the brake pressure switch assembly 86GG (Ref. TASK 32-45-17-000-001).
(6)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
(7)
Remove the bolts (6) and the washers (5) and remove the dual shuttle valve (4) from the aircraft.
(8)
Remove and retain the unions (9) and the reducers (2) from the removed dual shuttle valve 2578GG (4).
(9)
Remove and discard the packings (3) from the reducers (2) and the unions (9).
(10) Install blanking plugs on the removed valve.
