B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the access platform is in position below the applicable servovalve, at zone 730 or 740.
(2) Make sure the isolation coupling of the PTU is disconnected (Ref. TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(3) Make sure that the Yellow and Green hydraulic systems are de-pressurized (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001) and (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
(4) Make sure that the applicable hydraulic reservoirs have been depressurized (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001).

R A. Preparation for Installation
R R (1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026).
(2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(4) Examine the interface of the servovalve and the normal brake manifold for the correct condition.
(5) Remove the blanking cap from the electrical connector (4).
(6) If you are to install the servovalve 15GG(16GG), remove the blanking cap from the electrical connector (4) of the servovalve 17GG(18GG).
(7) Remove the blanking plugs from the hydraulic line end-fittings.
(8) Make sure that the hydraulic line end-fittings are serviceable.
(9) Lubricate the new seals (3) and the new rings (2) with HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003).

R B. Installation of the Normal Brake Servovalve
(1) Install the seals (3) and the rings (2) on the servovalve (1).
(2) Remove the cover and the blanking plugs from the normal brake manifold.
(3) Put the servovalve (1) in position on the normal brake manifold and install the bolts (5).
R (4) TORQUE the bolts (5) to between 0.35 and 0.45 m.daN (30.97 and 39.82 lbf.in).
