 (2) Remove and discard the lockwire from the bleed screw (2).
 (3) Put the bleed hose between the bleed screw (2) and the container.
 (4) Slowly open the bleed screw (2) to release the hydraulic pressure.
 (5) Close the bleed screw (2).
 (6) Remove the bleed hose and the container.
 (7) Use a clean MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026) to remove unwanted hydraulic fluid from the normal-brake safety-valve and the adjacent area.
 (8) Safety the bleed screw (2) with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010).
 (9) Install the dust cap (1).
 (10) Bleed the normal brake system (Ref. TASK 32-42-00-870-001).

R  A. Reactivation of the Normal-Brake Safety-Valve
 WARNING : OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES._______
 WARNING : DO NOT LET OIL STAY ON YOUR SKIN FOR A LONG TIME AS IT CAN_______ CAUSE INJURY. 
R R R  WARNING : WEAR GOGGLES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL THE LOCKWIRE. CUT,_______ REMOVE AND DISCARD THE LOCKWIRE AS YOU DO THE TASK. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT OR BLIND YOU. 
R R R  CAUTION : MAKE SURE THAT THE FLUID DOES NOT STAY ON THE AIRCRAFT_______ STRUCTURE. IF THE FLUID GETS ON THE AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE, WASH IT OFF IMMEDIATELY WITH SOAP AND WATER.
 (1) Remove and discard the lockwire from the reactivation plug (1).
 (2) Slowly loosen the reactivation plug (1) to release the hydraulic pressure.
 NOTE : Do not loosen the reactivation plug (1) more than 2.5 turns.____

 

R R R  (3) Use a clean MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026) to remove unwanted hydraulic fluid from the normal-brake safety-valve and the adjacent area. 
R R  (4) Tighten the reactivation plug (1) and torque it to between 3.85 and 4.0 m.daN (28.39 and 29.49 lbf.ft). 
R R  (5) Safety the reactivation plug (1) with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010). 
R  (6) Bleed the normal brake system (Ref. TASK 32-42-00-870-001).

 (1) Do an operational test of the normal braking system (Ref. TASK 32-42-00-710-001).
 (2) Examine the safety valve and the component interface for leaks.

 (1) Remove the safety barriers.
 (2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
 (3) Remove the warning notice(s).
 (4) Remove the access platform(s).
 (5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
