A. Removal of the Rotary Switch
(1)
Remove the screw (5), the pin (4), and the knob (3).
(2)
Loosen the four Dzus fasteners (2) from the panel 110VU (1) by a quarter turn.
(3)
Lift the panel 110VU (1).
(4)
Identify and disconnect the wires (9) from the rotary switch (8) with the applicable tool color white/red included in the ELECTRICIAN SERVICE TOOL KIT (DMC519).
(5)
Remove the nut (6) and the washer (7).
(6)
Remove the rotary switch (8).

A. Installation of the Rotary Switch
(1)
Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2)
Install the rotary switch (8).
(3)
Install the washer (7) and the nut (6).
(4)
Connect the wires (9) to the rotary switch (8) with the applicable tool color white red included in the ELECTRICIAN SERVICE TOOL KIT (DMC519).
(5)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(6)
Install the panel (1) on the support (10).
(7)
Tighten the four Dzus fasteners (2) on the panel (1).
(8)
Install the knob (3), (in OFF position), the pin (4), and the screw (5).

C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 70GG, 71GG

D. Test of the Rotary Switch
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------ACTION RESULT -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system with the electric pump (Ref. TASK 29-24-00-863-001). On the panel 400VU, on the Yellowpressure triple indicator 60GG, makesure that the pressure increases until 206 bar (3000 PSI) (the indicator pointer is in the green range).
2. Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-24-00-864-001).
3. On the panel 110VU, put the Parking Brake Control Switch 73GG in the ON position. On the panel 400VU, on the Yellowpressure triple indicator 60GG, makesure that the Yellow pressure applied to the brakes increases.
On the nose gear leg, on the N/W steering deactivation electric-box 5GC, the parking brake indicator light is
