R (2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-R 002).

Put the safety barriers in position.

Make sure that the ground safety locks are on the landing gear (Ref. TASK 32-00-00-481-001).

(3) On the panel 400VU: - make sure that the landing-gear control-lever 6GA is in the DOWN position - put a warning notice in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear.
(4) Put a warning notice in the cockpit, to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system.

R R R WARNING : WEAR GOGGLES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL THE LOCKWIRE. CUT,_______ REMOVE AND DISCARD THE LOCKWIRE AS YOU DO THE TASK. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT OR BLIND YOU.
CAUTION : MAKE SURE THAT THE FLUID DOES NOT STAY ON THE AIRCRAFT_______ STRUCTURE. IF THE FLUID GETS ON THE AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE, WASH IT OFF IMMEDIATELY WITH SOAP AND WATER.
R (1) Remove the dust cap (1) from the applicable normal-brake safety-valve.
