A. Removal of the Gravity Fill Cap/Adaptor
(1)
Remove the cap (2) from the adaptor (4).
(2)
Remove the lanyard (3) from the locking plate (9) and remove the cap (2).
(3)
Remove and discard the cotter-pin (12) from the cap (2) and remove the lanyard (3).
(4)
Drill out the rivets (8) from the locking plate (9) and the nut (7) and remove the locking plate (9).
(5)
Make sure that you remove all the swarf from the work area.
(6)
Remove the nut (7) from the adaptor (4) with the SPANNER-OVERWING FILLER (98D28004000000).
(7)
Remove the insulating gasket (10) and the seal ring (11) from the adaptor (4).
(8)
Remove the adaptor (4) from the wing.
(9)
Remove and discard the O-rings (5) and (6).
