A. Safety Precautions
WARNING : OBEY THE FUEL SAFETY PROCEDURES.

(1)
You must obey the fuel safety procedures when you do work on the fuel system (Ref. TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2)
Put a warning notice on the slat/flap control lever to tell persons not to operate the flight controls.
(3)
Put the safety barriers in position.
4. Procedure
_________ (Ref. Fig. 602/TASK 28-11-00-991-001) Subtask 28-11-00-220-050 R A. Check Leak Monitor for Evidence of Fuel Leakage and Correct Closure of R the Valve
(1)
Put the WATER DRAIN PURGER (98A28104000000) in position below the tank leak monitor.
(2)
Push the probe of the WATER DRAIN PURGER into the tank leak monitor and drain the tank leak monitor contents.
(3)
Remove the WATER DRAIN PURGER from the tank leak monitor.
(4)
Make sure that the tank leak monitor seals correctly.
(5)
Examine the contents of the bottle for signs of fuel and/or water (Ref. TASK 12-32-28-281-001). No fuel tank leakage is permitted.
NOTE : Signs of fuel show that there is a fuel tank leak.
