Look for signs of fuel leakage in these areas:
-tank seals and sealant
-structure, brackets and clamps
-fuel pipelines, couplings, bonded items, brackets and clamps.

Talcum Powder Procedure: WARNING : USE A PROTECTIVE EYE SHIELD/GOGGLES WHEN YOU USE COMPRESSED
_______ AIR. DEBRIS AND/OR HIGH PRESSURE AIR CAN DAMAGE YOUR EYES.

SURFACES OF THE FUEL TANKS.
(a)
Dry the area of the possible leak with a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003).
(b)
Dry the area fully with a low pressure, dry and filtered air supply .
(c)
Apply MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-004) to the area with a soft brush.
(d)
Monitor the area for a change in color of the talcum powder. This will show the location of a fuel leak and the rate of the leakage.

(4)
Install the access panels 147AZ, 148AZ (Ref. TASK 57-17-11-400-001).
(5)
Install the applicable leading-edge access-panels 521AB, 521CB, 521EB, 522AB, 522CB, 522FB, 522HB, 522JB, 522KB, 522LB, 522NB, 522QB, 621AB, 621CB, 621EB, 622AB, 622CB, 622FB, 622HB, 622JB, 622KB, 622LB, 622NB, 622QB.

Install the applicable trailing edge access panels 575AB, 575BB, 575CB, 575DB, 575EB, 575FB, 575GB, 575HB, 675AB, 675BB, 675CB, 675DB, 675EB, 675FB, 675GB, 675HB (Ref. TASK 57-51-37-400-004).
(7)
Close the applicable trailing edge access panels 574AB, 574BB, 674AB, 674BB.
(8)
Remove the access platform(s).
(9)
Close the MLG doors (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-410-001).

(1)
Fully retract the flaps (Ref. TASK 27-50-00-866-009).

Retract the spoilers fully (Ref. TASK 27-60-00-866-002).
(3)
On the spoiler servo-control, make sure that the pointer on the hex. head is opposite the letter 'O' on the housing.
