R (1) Make sure that the applicable fuel tank is defuelled (Ref. TASK 28-
R 25-00-650-001).
R (2) Make sure that the remaining fuel has been drained from the
R applicable fuel tank (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-003).
R (3) Make sure the the access platform is below the applicable access
R panel 540RB(640RB).
R (4) Make sure that the applicable access panels are removed:
R - 540RB(640RB) (Ref. TASK 28-10-00-910-002), (Ref. TASK 57-27-11-000-
R 002)
R - 550AB(650AB) (Ref. TASK 28-10-00-910-002), (Ref. TASK 28-12-47-000-

R A. Preparation for Installation
R (1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a
R MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS
R (Material No. 11-026).
R (2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are
R clean and in the correct condition.
R (3) Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

R B. Installation of the Clack Valve
R WARNING : USE SOLVENTS/CLEANING AGENTS, SEALANTS AND OTHER SPECIAL_______
R MATERIALS ONLY WITH A GOOD SUPPLY OF AIR.
R OBEY THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS.
R PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING.
R DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR MOUTH.
R DO NOT SMOKE.
R DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS.
R THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT.
R GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.
R (1) Apply a thin layer of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-017) below the heads
R and around the shanks of the bolts (1).
R NOTE : Make sure that no sealant touches the interface of the clack____
R valve (2) and the rib.
R (2) Install the clack valve (2) with the bolts (1). Tighten the bolts
R (1).
R (3) Apply SEALANTS (Material No. 09-017) to the two ends of the bolts
R (1).
