Do a check of the electrical bond between the right fuel boost pump for the center tank and the airplane structure (SWPM 20-20-00). 1) The resistance must not be more than 0.0002 ohms.

 (c)  
Install the access panel for the boost pump.

 (2)  Do these steps to do an inspection of the aft boost pump for the No. 2 tank:
 (a)  
Remove the access panel 7403 in the bottom wing sking to get access to the aft boost pump for the No. 2 tank.

 (b)  
Do a check of the electrical bond between the aft fuel boost pump for the No. 2 tank and the airplane structure (SWPM 20-20-00). 1) The resistance must not be more than 0.0002 ohms.

 (c)  
Install the access panel for the boost pump.


 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE
_______ LE AND TE FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS. THE LEADING EDGE AND THE TRAILING EDGE CONTROL SURFACES CAN EXTEND AND RETRACT QUICKLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (d)  Extend the leading edge flaps (AMM 27-81-00/201) to get accss to the forward fuel boost pump for the No. 2 tank.
 WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO
_______ INSTALL THE LE FLAP SAFETY LOCKS. THE LE FLAPS CAN MOVE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE SAFETY LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (e)  
Install the flap locks on the leading edge flaps (AMM 27-81-00/201).

 (f)  
Do a check of the electrical bond between the forward fuel boost pump for the No. 2 tank and the airplane structure (SWPM 20-20-00). 1) The resistance must not be more than 0.0002 ohms.

 STORAGE - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

 1.  General_______
 A.  All fuel to be used by the engines and the auxiliary power unit is kept in the No. 1 and No. 2 tanks in the wing and the center tank (Fig. 1). For information on the fuel tanks, refer to 28-11-00/001.
 2.  No. 1 and No. 2 Tanks_____________________
 A.  The No. 1 and No. 2 tanks are found in the wings between the front and rear spars from the wingtip surge tank inboard to the tank end rib just inboard and forward of the main landing gear.
 3.  Center Tank___________
 A.  The center tank is found in the airplane fuselage, between LBBL 70.54, RBBL 70.59 and the extension of the front and rear wing spar. Two beams are along the span between the No. 1 and No. 2 tank ends and supply three cavities to keep the fuel. The three cavities are interconnected at the top and bottom of the beams along the span by fuel flow equalizing holes.
