(a) ACCESS PANELS 65C38139-1/-2; The panel is installed correctly if the vent scoop access panel is not more than 0.06 inch | 0.02 inch (1.5 | 0.5 millimeter) above the surface of the airplane skin.

(3) S 654-081Slowly add 65 gallons to the applicable main tank (the No. 1 tank or the No. 2 tank) to cover the surge tank access doors with fuel.
NOTE:____ Push the red Manual Override Button adjacent to the solenoid of the applicable fueling shutoff valve to add fuel beyond the automatic shutoff quantity.
(4) S 794-082Permit the fuel to stay in the surge tank for a minimum of one hour.
(5) S 794-083Examine the applicable surge tank access door for leaks using the procedure, Find External Leaks With Talcum Powder (AMM 28.11.00/601).
(6) S 794-084Make sure there is no leakage from the applicable surge tank access door.
(7) S 654-085If it is necessary to adjust the fuel quantities in the fuel tanks, do this procedure: Pressure Refueling (AMM 12-11-00/301) or Tank to Tank Fuel Transfer (AMM 28-23-00/201).

1. General
_______
A. This procedure has one task. The task is the replacement of the molded rubber door seal for the access panels. You can use this procedure to replace all the rubber seals on high impact resistant access panels. You can also use this procedure to replace the rubber seals on access panels made of lightweight composite, if they are installed. All of the new type of replacement cast aluminum access panels will also have molded rubber seals that you can remove and replace.
