_______ TANK AND TO GO INTO IT. INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THE SAFETY PROCEDURES.
(1)
Prepare to go into the center tank and the applicable wing tank (AMM 28-10-00/201).

Remove the access panel for the center tank (AMM 28-11-31/401).

Go into the center tank.

(4)
Remove the mounting bolts from the access door in the wing root rib.

(5)
Remove the O-ring from the access door and discard the O-ring.

(6)
Put protection on the seal surfaces of the panel and the rib opening from some scratches or other damage.
NOTE: It is a good procedure to use a rubber cover to give

protection to the access opening.

Remove the rubber cover that gives protection for the access opening, if one is installed.

Make sure the seal surface is clean.

Install a new O-ring in the correct position on the access door.

Attach the access door to the opening with the mounting bolts.

Fill the applicable main wing tank with fuel (AMM 12-11-00/301).
(6)
Do a check for leaks in the access door for the wing root rib.
(7)
Install the access panel for the center tank (AMM 28-11-31/401).
