 FUEL VENT SYSTEM - INSPECTION/CHECK

 1.  General________
 A. This procedure has one task, a pressure check of the fuel vent system.
 B. To do the pressure check, you close these openings for the vent system:
 (1)
The fuel shutoff valves

 (2)
The ram air scoops for the vent system

 (3)
The internal vent openings.

 C.  You then pressurize the system to 5.0 |0.2 psi through a hose connection. You must not pressurize the vent system to more than 5.2 psi.
 D.  The ambient temperature and the ambient pressure must be constant during the pressure check.
 E.  You must attach safety streamers to all of the equipment that you use to close the vent openings. You must remove all of this equipment when you complete the pressure check. If you do not remove all of this equipment, bad damage will occur.
