A. Aircraft Maintanance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the electrical circuits are energized (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002):

Make sure that the AFT cargo-compartment door is open and safetied (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3)
Make sure that the CARGO COMPT light switch is set to the ON position.
(4)
Make sure that the access panel 161DW is removed.
(5)
Make sure that the access platform is in position under the potable water service-panel.
(6)
Make sure that the door of the potable water service-panel 171AL is open.
(7)
Make sure that the warning notice is in position to tell porsons that the quantity indication system will not operate.

A. Installation of the Water Service-Panel Door-Switch 5MA
(1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3) Put the limit switch (2) in position.
(4) Install the nut (4) and the washer (3).
(5) Safety the nut (4) with corrosion-resistant steel lockwire 0.5 mm (0.020 in.) dia.
(6) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(7) Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(8) Connect the electrical connector 6MA-A (1).

Install the access panels 161DW.
(2)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(3)
Close the door of the potable water service-panel 171AL. NOTE : Make sure that the latches are correctly locked and that the
____ door makes a continuous surface with the skin of the aircraft.
(4)
Set the CARGO COMPT light-switch 8LU on the service panel 2024VU to the OFF position.
