The potable water system supplies water from the water tank through a distribution system. Potable water is supplied to water faucets in the galleys and lavatories. The system also supplies potable water to the water heaters which are located below the lavatory washbasins. The potable water system includes these subsystems:
-Water Storage (Ref. AMM 38-11-00),
-Distribution (Ref. AMM 38-12-00),
-Quantity Indicating (Ref. AMM 38-13-00),
-Water Draining (Ref. AMM 38-14-00),
-Air Supply System (Ref. AMM 38-41-00),
-Potable Water Ice Protection (Ref. AMM 30-73-00),
-Drain System Ice Protection (Ref. AMM 30-71-00).
