(1)
Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT) in position at Zone 133.
(2)
Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT) in position at Zone 171.
(3)
Open the service door 171AL and the drain panel doors 133AL, 192NB.
(4)
Connect the HOSE - VINYL to the drain connections at the potable-water drain panels.

(1)
Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT) in position at Zone 133.
(2)
Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT) in position at Zone 171.
(3)
Open the service door 171AL and the drain panel door 133AL.
(4)
Connect the HOSE - VINYL to the drain connection at the potable-water drain panel.

H. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE EQUIPMENT YOU USE FOR THIS PROCEDURE IS
_______ CLEAN AND APPROVED FOR THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM. IF NOT IT CAN CAUSE CONTAMINATION OF THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM.
(1)
Make sure that all the shutoff valves in the lavatories and galleys are open.
(2)
Make sure that the switch on each water heater is set to the OFF position.
(3)
Make sure that the water faucets in the lavatories and the galleys are in the middle (mixed) position.
(4)
Remove the water-faucet nozzle assys in the lavatories (Ref. TASK 38-12-41-000-006) and do not install them at this time.
NOTE : You do not have to remove the nozzles of the water faucets
____ when (Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) (Herlisil)) or (H BIO T50) is used.
(5)
Connect the HOSE - VINYL to the waste-water drain-masts.
(6)
Connect the CART - DESINFECTION, WATER to the fill/drain port of the potable-water service panel.
(7)
Connect the ground air-supply cart to the ground air connection on the potable-water service panel.

J. Preparation of the Water Filters
(1)
Remove the caps and the filter elements from the galley filter housings but do not install new elements at this time (Ref. TASK 25-30-00-960-001).
(2)
Install the caps on the galley filter housings and tighten the clamps.

(1) Put the warning notices in position to tell persons not to use the potable water system.

A. Sanitization of the Potable Water Tank and the Distribution System
(1) Fill the potable water system with the solution. NOTE : You must fill the potable water system without electrical
____ power. this makes sure that the tank is full and that the solution flows from the potable water overflow port.
(a)
On the potable water-service panel turn and pull the FILL/DRAIN handle from the NORMAL to the FILL position.
