A. Removal of the Quantity Transmitter 3MA WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM IS DEPRESSURIZED. A

(1)
Disconnect the electrical connector (5) from the quantity transmitter (1).
(2)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.

Remove the nuts (4) and the washers (3).

Remove the quantity transmitter (1).
(5)
Put a PLUG - BLANKING into the hole in the potable water tank.

(1)
Disconnect the electrical connector (5) from the quantity transmitter (1).
(2)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(3)
Remove all the connections and the attachment clamps (Ref. TASK 38-11-41-000-001) but do not remove the tank.
(4)
Turn the tank so that the transmitter is free for removal.
(5)
Remove the nuts (4) and the washers (3).
(6)
Remove the quantity transmitter (1).
(7)
Put a PLUG - BLANKING into the hole in the potable water tank.
(8)
Remove and discard the packing (2).
