A. Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
Subtask 38-12-41-010-058
B. Get Access
(1)
Install the hoses on the drain masts 4DU and 14DU.
(2)
Put the containers below the drain masts 4DU and 14DU.
(3)
Put the ends of the hoses into the CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL).
(4)
In the lavatory, turn the potable-water shut-off valve to the CLOSED position.
(5)
In the lavatory, operate the water faucet until no more water flows into the washbasin.

(1) Put the WARNING NOTICE in position to tell persons not to use the toilet(s) or open the potable-water shut-off valve(s).

R (1) Make match marks on the items.
R NOTE : To prevent errors on assembly, you must mark the parts before____

R (2) Use the special key AQUA BUTZE P/N 90-1002-03 (4) to remove the
R nozzle assy (5) from the water-faucet outlet (1).
R (3) Remove the washer (2) from the nozzle (3).

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2)
Make sure that the CONTAINER 10 L(2 1/2 USGAL) are in position below the drain masts 4DU and 14DU.
(3)
Make sure that the ends of the hoses are in the containers below the drain masts.
(4)
Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE are in position to tell persons not to open the water shut-off valve.
(5)
Make sure that the potable-water shut-off valve in the lavatory is in the CLOSED position.
