Make sure that the manual shutoff valve is in fully open position.
(2)
Use a 3/16 inch open wrench to operate the shaft (5) of the disk.
(3)
Rotate the shaft (5) of disk with the wrench to the left to a maximum of 90 deg. (1/4 turn) (left is looking in the direction of the shaft)
NOTE : If there is too much resistance when you turn the shaft (5)
____ (normally a maximum of to 0.068 m.daN (6.01 lbf.in) force is required to turn the shaft), then the toilet assembly must be removed (Ref. TASK 38-31-41-000-001) and the orbital valve cleaned in the shop (Ref. CMM 383416). If not, breakage of the shaft may result.
NOTE : It may be necessary to cut a small hole in the plastic foil
____ which covers the toilet bowl to let air into the bowl.
(4)
Make sure that the accumulated waste leaves the toilet bowl via the waste drain lines.
(5)
Remove the plastic foil and clean the toilet assembly and examine the cause for the blockage.

Rotate the shaft (5) of the disk to the right to fully close the orbital valve.
(3)
Make sure that the shaft (5) aligns with the gear assembly.
(4)
Put the motor/gear assembly (1) in position.
