Subtask 38-12-41-420-050
A. Installation of the Water Faucet
(Ref. Fig. 402/TASK 38-12-41-991-003)
(1)
Clean the component interface and / or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do a visual inspection of the component interface and / or the adjacent area.
(3)
Remove the blanking plugs from the disconected lines ends.
(4)
Put the hoses (9) in position.
(5)
Put the fittings (14) in the bracket (13) and tighten the nuts (15).
(6)
Install the hoses (12).
(7)
Put the hoses (9) in position through the shroud (3) and install the spring clips (8).
(8)
Apply clean water to the new O-ring (7).
(9)
Install the O-rings (7) on the hoses (9).
(10)
Carefully install the water faucet (6) on the hoses (9).
(11)
Install the washers (11) and the nuts (8).
(12)
Put the shroud (3) in position and install the washers (4) and the bolts (5).
(13)
Put the mirror (2) in position and install the screw (1).
(14) Remove the warning notice(s). R **ON A/C 004-049, 053-099, 101-149, 151-199, 201-299, 301-399, 401-499,

A. Installation of the Water Faucet
(Ref. Fig. 402A/TASK 38-12-41-991-003-A)
(1)
Clean the component interface and / or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do a visual inspection of the component interface and / or the adjacent area.
(3)
Remove the blanking plugs from the disconected lines ends.
(4)
Put the hoses assemblies (3) in position.
(5)
Put the fittings (10) in the brackets(7) and (11) and tighten the nuts (8).
(6)
Remove the blanking plugs from the fittings (10) and install the hoses (9).
(7)
Put the hoses (3) in position through the wash basin (4) and install the spring clips (5).
(8)
Apply clean water to the new O-ring (5).
(9)
Remove the blanking plugs from the disconected lines ends.
(10)
Apply clean water to the new O-rings (5).
(11)
Install the O-rings (5) on the hoses (3).
(12)
Carefully install the water faucet (1) on the hoses (3).
(13)
Install the screws (3).
(14) Remove the warning notice(s). **ON A/C ALL

B. Leak Test
(Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 38-12-41-991-001)
(1)
If necessary fill the potable water system (Ref. TASK 12-15-38-613-001).
(2)
If necessary pressurize the potable water system (Ref. TASK 38-10-00-614-001).
(3)
In the lavatory, turn the potable-water shutoff valve (20) to the open position.
(4)
In the lavatory, push the water faucet until water flows into the washbasin.
(5)
Examine the fittings and the water faucet for leaks.
NOTE : Leaks are not permitted.

If necessary do the adjustment of the water-flow time of the water faucet (Ref. TASK 38-12-00-820-001).
(7)
Release the pressure from the potable water system (Ref. TASK 38-10-00-614-002).
