(1)
Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
Make sure that the potable water-shutoff valve in the lavatory is closed.
(3)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.

A. Installation of the Self-Closing Element.
(1)
Install a new O-ring (8) on the self-closing element (7).
(2)
Remove the blanking plug and install the self-closing element in the faucet housing (9).
(3)
Install the washer (6) and the spring (5)
(4)
Put the lever cap (4) in position and install the clamp (3).

A. Installation of the Water-Faucet Self-Closing Element. WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE EQUIPMENT YOU USE FOR THIS PROCEDURE IS

NOTE : This procedure for the installation of the water-faucet

(1)
Remove the blanking plug from the faucet housing (8).
(2)
Install a new packing (7) on the self-closing element (6)
(3)
Install the self-closing element (6).
(4)
Use the special AQUA BUTZKE Key P/N W35-09-61 and tighten the self-closing element (6) assembly.
(5)
Install the spring (5) and the grip sleeve (4).
(6)
Install a new spring clip (3).
R (7) Install the screw (1) on the cap assembly (2). R (8) Install the cap assembly (2). NOTE : The side-borehole (1) of the cap assembly (2) must be aligned
____ with the rear side of the housing (8). R (9) Connect the cap assembly (2) with the screw (1) to the water faucet. **ON A/C ALL

B. Leak Check.
(1)
Open the potable water shutoff valve in the lavatory.
(2)
Make sure that there is enough water in the potable water tank, if necessary fill (Ref. TASK 12-15-38-613-001).
(3)
Pressurize the potable water system (Ref. TASK 38-10-00-614-001).
(4)
Operate the water faucet and make sure that it functions correctly.
(5)
If necessary do the adjustment of the water-flow time of the water faucet (Ref. TASK 38-12-00-820-001).
(6) Make sure that there are no leaks, leaks are not allowed.
