R A. Installation of the Shutoff Valve (4)
R (Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 38-12-14-991-001)
R (1) Put the shutoff valve (4) in position and install the washers (2) the
R bolts (1),the washers (5) and the nuts (6).
R (2) Connect the connections (3).

R A. Installation of the Shutoff Valve (12)
R (Ref. Fig. 401A/TASK 38-12-14-991-001-A)
R (1) If removed install the control rod (2).
R (a) Put the bracket (3) in position on the lavatory (15).
R (b) Install the counter sink screws (1) the washers (14) and the nuts
R (13).
R (2) If removed, install the bracket (9) to the shutoff valve (12) with
R the washers (10) and the screws (11).
R R (3) Put the brackets (9) and (6) and the shutoff valve (12) in position against the structure (7).
R R (4) Make sure that the control lever (2) is in position on the shutoff valve (12).
R (5) Install the counter sink washers (5) and the counter sink screws (4).
R R (6) Connect the connections (8).

R (1) If necessary fill the potable water system (Ref. TASK 12-15-38-613-
R 001).
R (2) Pressurize the potable water system (Ref. TASK 38-10-00-614-001).
R (3) Make sure the shutoff valve (4) is in the open position.
R (4) Examine the shutoff valve (4) for leaks.
R NOTE : No leaks are permitted.____

R D. Leak check
R (1) If necessary fill the potable water system (Ref. TASK 12-15-38-613-
001).
R (2) Pressurize the potable water system (Ref. TASK 38-10-00-614-001).
R (3) Make sure the shutoff valve (12) is in the OPEN position.
R (4) Examine the shutoff valve (12) for leaks.
R NOTE : No leaks are permitted.____
