A. Remove the Control Rod
NOTE : Two mechanics are necessary to do these operations.

One mechanic outside the aircraft.
(1)
Remove the washer (3) and remove and discard the cotter pin (4).
(2)
Remove the pin (1) and disengage the clevis (2).
(3)
Remove the nut (10), the lever (9) and at the same time from the outside of the aircraft hold the bolt (5) and the handle (6).
(4)
Remove the bolt (5), the handle (6) and the brush (8) from the bearing assy (7).
