A. Get a Sample of the Potable Water System WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE EQUIPMENT YOU USE FOR THIS PROCEDURE IS
_______ CLEAN AND APPROVED FOR THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM. IF NOT IT CAN CAUSE CONTAMINATION OF THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM.
NOTE : Only qualified persons should take samples.

(1) Let the qualified person get samples from the water faucet at these locations:

at a galley,

at a lavatory.
NOTE : When the nozzle assy is not installed on the outlet of the
____ water faucet, the water will flow horizontally out of the outlet.
NOTE : You must get the two samples at the farthest point from the

potable water tank.

Position the sample bottle in front of the lavatory water-faucet outlet, before you operate the faucet.
(3)
Carefully operate the water faucet for 3 min, then fill the clean BOTTLE - SAMPLE with water.
(4)
Seal the glass sampling bottles.
(5)
Put a tag on the glass sampling bottles.
(6)
Write down the aircraft registration, the system, the Location, the date and the time on the tag.
(7)
Send all the water sample bottles to the hygienic institute for analysis.

(1) If the values of the samples analysis are more than the values given in Table 1 and Table 2 do the sanitization of the potable water system (Ref. TASK 38-10-00-670-002).

R R (1) If the values of the microbiological analysis are not within the recommended levels, do the disinfection procedure of the potable water system (with Hydrogen Peroxide (Herlisil)), (H BIO T50) or (ELSIL) again (Ref. TASK 38-10-00-670-002).
(2) Do the flushing of the potable water several times again.
NOTE : This is to make sure that the potable water system is clean.____
