 (6) TROUBLE SHOOTING DATA (Ref. Fig. 037) This item can be reached from one of the following functions:
 -LAST LEG REPORT

 -PREVIOUS LEGS REPORT

 -GROUND SCANNING

 -CLASS 3 FAULTS.
 If a fault is detected, the following data are displayed by pushing
 the line key adjacent to the fault for which a trouble-shooting is
 performed:

 -
the fault title with the number of occurrences in parentheses.


 -
the fault code and the aircraft identification,


 -
the leg number at the fault detection and the occurrence number during this flight,


 -during each occurrence, the flight phase, the time and the date at which the fault has been detected.

 (7) SYSTEM CONFIGURATION (Ref. Fig. 038, 039) Pushing the line key adjacent to this indication enables access to a sub-menu with a new item: ECAM PIN PROGRAM. The purpose of this item is to show the status of the hardware pin programming for the SDACs and the FWCs. It also shows the result of the last hardware pin programming parity check. When the FWCs are in:
 -basic configuration, the pin programming is displayed on 2 lines of 16 digits.
 -full configuration, the pin programming is displayed on 3 lines (2
 lines of 16 digits, 1 line of 13 digits).
 When the SDACs are in:

 -basic configuration, the pin programming is displayed on 1 line of 16 digits.
 -full configuration, the pin programming is displayed on 2 lines (1 line of 16 digits, 1 line of 8 digits).
 NOTE : The pin programming is displayed in binary code:
____ -0 corresponds to an activated pin (wired to ground)
 -1 corresponds to a pin not actived (wired to an open circuit).

The purpose of the ECAM PIN PROGRAM HARD item is to show the status of the hardware pin programming for the SDACs and the FWCs.

The purpose of the ECAM PIN PROGRAM SOFT item is to show the status of the software pin programming for the FWCs.


 It also shows a new function used to reset the pin programming. The RESET PIN PROG FWCx line is displayed only in flight phase 1.
 NOTE : The pin programming is displayed in binary code:
____ -0 corresponds to an activated pin (wired to ground)
 -1 corresponds to a pin not actived (wired to an open circuit).

 7. OEB REMINDER function description_________________________________
 A. General
 An Operation Engineering Bulletin (OEB) is launched when the aircraft operation may be affected.
 The OEB is available through the on-board paper procedure and the crew has to remember the complete list of OEB and particularly the list of warnings affected by an OEB.
 In the way of helping the crew, a visual means to remind the crew to refer to the paper procedure has been created on the ECAM (display of REFER TO QRH (Quick Reference Handbook) PROC on the ECAM display units).
