A. Removal of the Data Loading Selector
(1)
Hold the data loading selector panel (2) and loosen the quarter-turn fasteners (3).
(2)
Pull the data loading selector panel (2) from its housing.
(3)
Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
(4)
Remove the data loading selector (2).
(5)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.

A. Installation of the data loading selector
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(4)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(5)
Make sure that the housing of the Data Loading Selector is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(6)
Connect the electrical connector (1).
(7)
Install the data loading selector (2) in its housing.
(8)
Tighten the quarter-turn fasterners. Subtask 31-38-21-865-053
B.
Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 3TD, 5TD.

C. Energize the aircraft electrical circuits

1. On the overhead panel:
-set the Data Loading Selector ON/OFF switch to ON.
2. On the overhead panel:
-set the Data Loading Selector PREV or NEXT P/B switches until you select the FMGC1 indication
3. On the overhead panel:
-Push the Data Loading Selector SEL CTL P/B switch
4. On the overhead panel:
-Push the Data Loading Selector SEL CTL P/B switch
