3. Job Set-up

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the hydraulic system are depressurized (Ref. TASK 29-23-00-864-001) (Ref. TASK 29-24-00-864-001) (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-864-003).
(2)
Make sure that the hydraulic reservoir is depressurized (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(3)
Make sure that warning notice(s) is (are) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the hydraulic system: - on the ground service panel 198CB.
(4)
Make sure that warning notice(s) is (are) in position on the access door 195BB to tell persons not to pressurize the hydraulic reservoir.
(5)
Make sure that an access platform is in position at the zone 476.
(6)
Make sure that the access panels 476CR, 476RR are open. Subtask 29-14-13-941-052
B.
Safety Precautions
(1)
On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
-make sure that warning notice(s) is (are) in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2)
Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3)
Make sure that the warning notice(s) is (are) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the hydraulic system:
-in the cockpit, on the HYD section of the overhead panel 40VU.
(4)
On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
-make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(5)
Make sure that the warning notice(s) is (are) in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
4. Procedure

A. Installation of the Bleed-Air Line Restrictor
(1)
Install the new packing (10) on the bleed-air line restrictor (9).
(2)
Remove the blanking plugs from the unions (1) and (11) and the pipe (7).
(3)
Install the bleed-air line restrictor (9) in the union (11).
(4)
TORQUE the bleed-air line restrictor (9) to between 2.9 and 3.2 m.daN
(21.38 and 23.59 lbf.ft).
(5)
Install the pipe (7) on the bleed-air line restrictor (9) and on the union (1).
(6)
TORQUE the nuts (2) and (8) to between 1.5 and 1.7 m.daN (11.06 and
12.53 lbf.ft).
(7)
Attach the clamp (4) to the structure (3) with the washer (5) and the screw.
5. Close-up

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1)
Remove the warning notice(s).
(2)
Remove the access platform(s).
(3)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(4)
Install the access panels 476CR, 476BR.
(5)
Close the door 195BB.
