Make sure that the warning notices are in position.
(2)
Make sure that the safety barriers are in position.
(3)
Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(4)
Pressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-863-003).

NOTE : Make sure that a second person examines the retraction of the RAT.

Open the door of the ground RAT control-unit 2815GE.
(2)
Set the ARM switch on the ground RAT control-unit 2815GE to the ON position.
(3)
Manually set the blades of the RAT in line with the leg assembly. NOTE : Make sure that the rod of the index lock mechanism is exactly

in line with the groove on the turbine spin.

(4) Set the STOW switch on the RAT ground control-unit to the STOW position.
WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE RAT TRAVEL RANGE IS CLEAR BEFORE YOU

EXTEND/RETRACT THE RAT.
(5)
Make sure that the RAT retracts.
(6)
Make sure that the red warning light on the RAT ground control-unit goes off.
(7)
Push and hold the test pushbutton switch on the RAT ground control-unit.
(8)
Make sure that the red warning light comes on.
