WARNING : OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
_______
(1)
Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2)
Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration. (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(3)
Make sure that the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized. (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(4)
Make sure that the warning notices are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
-in the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel, - on the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.
(5)
Make sure that the access door 196BB is open.
(6)
Make sure that the container is in position below the manifold (3146GM) to collect unwanted fluid.
(7)
Make sure that the isolation coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) is disconnected (Ref. TASK 29-23-00-860-001).

A. Preparation of the Ground Leakage-Measurement Manifold before
Installation
NOTE : The subsequent worksteps are only necessary if the applicable
____ components are not installed in the replacement manifold.
(1) Install the applicable components in the manifold (1) as follows:
(a)
Lubricate the new O-rings and the threads of the components with HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003).
(b)
Put the O-ring (28) in position on the plug (27).
(c)
Install the plug (27) in port A of the manifold (1).
(d)
TORQUE the plug (27) to between 4.32 and 4.61 m.daN (31.85 and
33.99 lbf.ft).
(e)
Put the O-ring (26) in position on the plug (25).
(f)
Install the plug (25) in port B of the manifold (1).
(g)
TORQUE the plug (25) to between 3.19 and 3.47 m.daN (23.52 and
25.58 lbf.ft).
(h)
Safety the plugs (25), (27) with lockwire, corrosion-resistant steel dia 0.8 mm (0.032 in.).
(i)
Put the O-ring (19) in position on the union (18).
(j)
Install the union (18) in port A of the manifold (1).
(k)
TORQUE the union (18) to between 4.32 and 4.61 m.daN (31.85 and
