A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.

Remove the warning notice(s).
(2)
Remove the access platform(s).
(3)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(4) Close the left fan-cowl door 437AL (Ref. TASK 71-13-00-410-040). R (5) Close the thrust reverser door 451 (Ref. TASK 78-36-00-410-040).
(6) Close the access door 195BB.
HYDRAULIC RESERVOIR FILLING - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

1. General

The reservoir filling system makes it possible to fill any of the three hydraulic reservoirs from one place. The supply of fluid can be a container or a pressurized ground hydraulic supply. It is not necessary to depressurize the reservoirs.

3. System Description

Most of the components of the reservoir filling system are installed on the ground service panel of the Green system. The components which are not installed there are:
-
the hand pump handle, which is the same one as is used for the hand pump of the Yellow hydraulic system. It is kept on the ground service panel of the Yellow system,
-
the three check valves, which are installed in the supply lines to the reservoirs.
The system can use a container or a ground hydraulic supply as a source of hydraulic fluid. If the source is a container, the flexible pipe makes the connection between the container and the hand pump. You must connect it to the fill valve. The fill valve is installed in the suction port of the hand pump. It includes a filter and a check valve. The hand pump is the same as the pump in the Yellow hydraulic system, but a different suction port is used.

The self-sealing coupling socket is the connection for a pressurized ground hydraulic supply. There is a restrictor between the coupling socket and the selector valve. The restrictor protects the system against overpressure.
A high-pressure (HP) filter is installed upstream of the selector valve. The selector valve is a 4 port/4 way valve which gets fluid from the supply and sends it to the applicable reservoir. The selector valve also controls the power supply to the electrical contents indicator (Ref. 29-31-00).
The check valves isolate the low-pressure (LP) circuits of the main hydraulic systems from the reservoir filling system when it is not in use.

A. Coupling Socket 1007GM

The coupling socket is the connection for a pressurized ground supply of hydraulic fluid. It is installed on the ground service panel of the Green hydraulic system. With the socket, you can fill the hydraulic reservoirs.
The coupling socket is one half of a self-sealing quick-disconnect coupling. The other half is attached to the ground hydraulic supply. The assembly includes a check valve. There is a blanking cap, which is attached to the body of the coupling with a cable.
B. Fill Valve 1698GM
