Electric Pump, Blue System

Electric Pump, Yellow System
-Power Control Unit (PCU), Slats

Air Relief Valve, Green System Reservoir
-
Air Relief Valve, Yellow System Reservoir.
The AFT collector tank is in the main hydraulic compartment. It is attached to the right side of the keelbeam, forward of FR46. The components which drain into it are:

Power Control Unit (PCU), Flaps
-
Power Transfer Unit (PTU)
-Constant Speed Motor/Generator (CSM/G)
-Air Relief Valve, Blue System Reservoir.
The components of the system are connected with silicon hoses and aluminium pipes. The system is designed so that fluid drains into the collector tanks under the influence of gravity.

A. Get Access
(1)
Open the access door 196BB of the belly fairing.
(2)
Open the right main door of the main gear (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-010-001).

WARNING : OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.

(1)
Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2)
Put the CONTAINER 3 L(3/4 USGAL) in position below the collector tank.
4. Procedure

A. Drain the Collector Tank
(1)
Disconnect the hose (1) and the grommet (2) from the collector tank (4).
(2)
Remove the clamp (3) from the collector tank (4).
(3)
Remove the collector tank (4).
(4)
Drain the hydraulic fluid from the collector tank (4) into the container.
(5)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(6)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(7)
Put the collector tank (4) in position.
(8)
Install the clamp (3).
(9)
Make sure that the hydraulic line end-fittings are serviceable.

(10)
Connect the hose (1) and the grommet (2) to the collector tank (4).
(11)
Remove the container.
