(2) Examine the RAT pump/gearbox splitline and the drain plug of the RAT gearbox for external leakage. Make sure that the external leakage is not more than: 60 drops an hour when the RAT is in operation, 2 drops an hour when the RAT is not in operation.
NOTE : The given values are only for the RAT pump/gearbox splitline
____ and the drain plug and not for the hydraulic connections. If you are not sure of the source of the leaks you must pressurize the Blue hydraulic system with 3000 psi and examine the hydraulic connections and its related components.

(4)
De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
