11-4 REQUISITIONING -
a. Information on and procedures for requisitioning FLIP products are outlined in Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) E-Catalog of Maps, Charts, and Related products and the DLA website at www.dscr.dla.mil/rmf. Various organizations serve as FLIP account managers who are responsible for account start-ups, cancellations, changes, etc.  See items 1 through 3 and below note.

United States Air Force and Non-DoD activities needing general requisitioning assistance should contact DLA 804-279-6500, DSN 695-6500, or 1-800-826-0342.

(2)
US Naval/Marine Activities East of the Mississippi should contact MSO Norfolk at 757 445-2460 DSN 565-2460 for their requirements, West of the Mississippi contact MSO San Diego at 619 545-6069 DSN 765-6069.

Army activities in Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East (ENAME) needing requisitioning assistance will contact United States Army Aeronautical Service Detachment


Europe (USAAE), Heidelberg military DSN 373-6426/8029 or commercial (49)(0)6221-17-6426/8079.  Remaining Army activities will contact United States Army Aeronautical Service Agency (USAASA), C703-806-4870, DSN 656-4870.
Note:  All Auto Distribution (AD) requests that you submit for FLIP products must specify the product effective date and must be submitted 60 days prior to that effective date.  Failure to submit (AD) requests 60 days in advance could adversely affect the timely receipt of your FLIP products.
b. STEP BY STEP ACCOUNT ESTABLISHMENT AND ORDERING PROCESSES:
   Ordering and Requisitioning Procedures:

Establish your DoD Activity Address Codes (DODAAC) account number by contacting your service contact point.  A list of service contact points may be viewed at the following website http://www.dscr.dla.mil/rmf/accounts/dodaac.htm. For additional information and more service accounts see:  https://day2k1.daas.dla.mil/daasinq/help.asp?cu=d&help= If you already have a DODAAC account number, proceed to step 2. NOTE:  If your unit is deploying you must establish a new DODAAC account number for your deployed location.

Complete DLA Form 1832 to establish your account with DLA.  You may access this at the RMF website at http://www.dscr.dla.mil/rmf/ and selecting the Accounts Link located at the top of the website.  If you have already completed a DLA Form 1832 proceed to step 3.

Submit subscription amounts to Accounts Management Section 804-279-6500, DSN 695-6500, or 1-800-826-0342 or email acctmgr@dla.mil or fax 804-279-6510, DSN 695-6510.  Include DODAAC, NRN/NSN and quantity required.


Methods of ordering from DLA:
Mapping Customer Operations (MCO) requires all Department of Defense and Federal agencies submit electronic orders via the Defense Automatic Addressing System (DAAS).  Electronic ordering allows map customers to take advantage of their intra-service or agency logistics system to electronically transmit orders to the RMF. In lieu of intra-support systems, alternative electronic methods are offered by the DAAS Center, Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio. These methods greatly reduce order processing and shipping time. Electronic ordering also allows inter-support or DAAS automated systems to perform validation edits on orders prior to the RMF, thereby eliminating many of the errors which cause rejection or cancellation.

Electronic Ordering Electronic ordering is the only method for ordering products, however, various means are available to enable electronic transmission of MILSTRIP or FEDSTRIP requisitions.  Your local supply activity or logistics office is the best source for information on what is available. Some of the methods used by customers for DAAS connectivity are:
