(1) Put the access platform in position at the access door 824.
(2) Open the access door 824. Subtask 26-15-00-020-050
C. Removal of the Duct
(1)
Remove the avionics compartment smoke detector (Ref. TASK 26-15-15-000-001).
(2)
Remove the duct (Ref. TASK 21-26-41-000-002).
4. Procedure

A. Cleaning of the Piccolo Tubes WARNING : USE A PROTECTIVE EYE SHIELD/GOGGLES WHEN YOU USE COMPRESSED
_______ AIR. DEBRIS AND/OR HIGH PRESSURE AIR CAN DAMAGE YOUR EYES.
(1)
Make sure that the output tubes have no blockage. If necessary clean the output tubes with compressed air.
(2)
Clean the piccolo tubes with compressed air.
(3)
Make sure that the piccolo tubes are in the correct condition and that there is no unwanted material in the duct.
5. Close-up

A. Installation of the Duct
(1)
Install the duct (Ref. TASK 21-26-41-400-002).
(2)
Install the avionics compartment smoke detector (Ref. TASK 26-15-15-400-001).

(1) Do the operational test of the avionics smoke detection system from the Multipurpose Control and Display Unit (MCDU) (Ref. TASK 26-15-00-710-001).

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.

(3) Remove the access platform(s).
