-PUSH THE PUSHBUTTON SWITCH FULLY IN (LATCHED POSITION).
THEN CLOSE THE GUARD.
DO NOT TRY TO CLOSE THE GUARD AND PUSH THE PUSHBUTTON
SWITCH AT THE SAME TIME.
(a)
Open the safety guard of the FIRE pushbutton switch.
(b)
Push and release the FIRE pushbutton switch.
(c)
Push the FIRE pushbutton switch.
(d)
Close the safety guard of the FIRE pushbutton switch.
(2) Do a functional test of the ENG 1(2) FIRE pushbutton switch (Ref. TASK 26-21-00-720-005).

Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3)
On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a)
Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b)
Put a warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
