(1) In the cockpit, on the OVERHEAD CTL & IND panel 25VU, put a warning notice to tell the persons not to start the APU .

C. Get Access
(1)
Put the access platform in position.
(2)
Open the access door 824.
4. Procedure

A. Remove the APU Fire Detection Unit (FDU):
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connectors (5) and (6) from the Fire Detection Unit (1)
(2)
Put blanking caps on the electrical connectors (5) and (6).
(3)
Remove the screws (2) and the washers (3).
(4)
Remove the fire detection unit (1)
