Carefully put the air extraction hood (8) with the smoke detector
(13) in position on the ceiling panel and install the screws (7).

Carefully push the air extraction grill (9) into the air extraction hood (8).
(5)
Remove the blanking plugs from the line ends.
(6)
Connect the hose (5) to the air extraction hood (8) and tighten the clamp (6).
(7)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(8)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(9)
Connect the electrical connector 4WQ-A (12) to the smoke detector (13).

A. Removal of the Lavatory Smoke Detector
WARNING : DO NOT TRY TO OPEN OR REPAIR THE SMOKE DETECTORS.
_______ THE DETECTOR CONTAINS RADIOACTIVE AMERICIUM 241 OF APPROXIMATELY 0.4 MICROCURIES. ONLY WORKSHOPS AUTHORIZED BY THE MANUFACTURER CAN DO WORK ON THE SMOKE DETECTORS.
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connector 5WQ-A (4) from the smoke detector (13).
(2)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(3)
Loosen the clamp (10) and disconnect the hose (11) from the air extraction hood (8).
(4)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
(5)
Carefully pull the air extraction grill (7) from the air extraction hood (8).
