A. Install the ENG/APU Fire Panel
(1) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors (1) and from the fire panel (2).
(2) Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(3)
Connect the electrical connectors (1) to the panel (2).
(4)
Install the panel (2) in its housing.
(5) tighten the QAD fasteners (3) by a quarter turn. Subtask 26-12-12-865-055
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 7WD1, 7WD2, 8WD1, 8WD2, 1WE1, 2WE1, 1WE2, 2WE2, 1WG, 2WG, 1WF, 2WF, 3WF, 4WF, 1QG, 2QG, 3QG, 4QG, 1HB, 2HB, 2HA1, 3HA1, 2HA2, 3HA2, 2XU1, 2XU2, 23XU1, 23XU2, 24XU1, 24XU2, 26XU1, 26XU2, 1703GK, 3702GD

C. Do this Functional Test:
(1) Reset of the ENG 1, 2 and APU FIRE pushbutton switches: CAUTION : TO RESET THE ENG 1(2) APU FIRE PUSHBUTTON SWITCH:

-PUSH THE PUSHBUTTON SWITCH FULLY IN (LATCHED POSITION).
THEN CLOSE THE GUARD.
DO NOT TRY TO CLOSE THE GUARD AND PUSH THE PUSHBUTTON
SWITCH AT THE SAME TIME.
(a)
Open the safety guards of the ENG 1, 2 and APU FIRE pushbutton switches.
(b)
Push and release the ENG 1, 2 and APU FIRE pushbutton switches.
(c)
Push the ENG 1, 2 and APU FIRE pushbutton switches.
(d)
Close the safety guards of the ENG 1, 2 and APU FIRE pushbutton switches.
(2) Do a functional test of the ENG 1, 2 FIRE pushbutton switches (Ref. TASK 26-21-00-720-005).

D. Do this Operational Test:
(1)
Do an operational test of the functions of the APU FIRE
pushbutton-switch (Ref. TASK 26-22-00-710-004).
(2)
Do an operational test of the engine fire and overheat detection system (Ref. TASK 26-12-00-710-001).
(3)
Do an operational test of the APU fire-extinguishing system (Ref. TASK 26-22-00-710-001).
