Remove the load-test-adapter-tool from the pressure relief door.
(a)
Remove the pivot support assembly (5) from the cowl structure.
(b)
Remove the adapter assembly (2) from the pressure relief door.
(c)
Install the mounting bolts, washers and nuts (3) on the latch, and tighten the nuts (3).

If there is more than one latch on the pressure relief door, do these steps again to do a test of the other latch.

When you have completed the tests for all the latches on the pressure relief door, do these steps:
(a)
Put the blade of a straight-slot screwdriver into the slot of one of the latches (1) on the pressure relief door.
(b)
Move the screwdriver handle until the latch (1) is in the fully open position, and close the pressure relief door.
(c)
Move the screwdriver in the opposite direction to lock the latch (1).
(d)
If there is more than one latch on the pressure relief door, do these steps again to close the opposite latch (1).

Do a check of adjustment for the pressure relief door.
(a)
Make sure that the upper and lower side clearances of the pressure relief doors are 0.03-0.09 inch (0.74-2.26 mm). 1) If the clearance does not agree with the given tolerance,
remove or install washers between the hinge assemblies and bushings.
(b)
Make sure that the forward and aft side clearances of the pressure relief doors are 0.03-0.09 inch (0.74-2.26 mm). 1) If the clearance does not agree with the given tolerance,
do these steps: a) Use a drift to remove the roll pins from the hinge assemblies.

b) Loosen the bolts which hold the pressure relief door to
the hinge assemblies.
c) Adjust the pressure relief door to agree with the given
tolerances.
d) Tighten the bolts.
e) Find the spare holes in the hinge assemblies opposite
the holes used for the roll pins before.
f) Drill the spare holes with a 0.062-0.065 inch (1.5-1.6
mm) diameter bit.
g) Install the roll pins in the new holes.
h) Align the roll pins with the outer side of the pressure
