(a) Let the engine oil drain to a slow drip (approximately 30 minutes).

Install the drain plugs in the main gearbox and engine oil tank.

Remove the accessory drive pad covers from the main gearbox.

Spray the drive pads with engine oil.

(a)
If it is necessary, remove the hydraulic pump (AMM 29-11-05/401) to get better access to the main gearbox.
(b)
If any hydraulic fluid is found, replace the gearbox carbon seal (AMM 72-61-07/401).

NOTE: Do not do the Thrust Reverser Activation procedure after you
