With the torque wrench and adapter, tighten the vertical tension bolts (12) for the aft engine mounts to 3060-3740 pound-inches (346-423 newton-meters). 1) Make sure all of the threads in the nut are engaged. 2) Make sure all of the chamfer on the end of the bolt comes
out of the nut.

(5) Use the control box to lower the PT90-E and the power plant until the load distribution display is almost zero.

(a)
Do a fluorescent penetrant inspection of the vertical tension bolts (1, 2, and 12) (AMM 70-31-01/201).
(b)
Examine the threads of the vertical tension bolts (1, 2, and 12) to make sure you can apply a satisfactory locking torque when used with a satisfactory nut.
