INLET COWL PRESSURE RELIEF VENT - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. Two tasks are given in this procedure. The first task is the removal of the pressure relief vent on the inlet cowl. The second task is the installation of the pressure relief vent on the inlet cowl.
B. The pressure relief vent is installed on the lower aft edge of the inlet cowl.

Put a screwdriver in the latch tool slots.

Apply a force to the screwdriver to release the latches.

Remove the bolts from the hinge assemblies on the vent.

Use a drift punch on the outer side of the vent to push the roll pins until the vent is free.

Remove the hinge assemblies and the washers.

Remove the bushings if they are worn.
