Open the thrust reversers (AMM 78-31-00/201).

Remove the locking closure from the fan rotor hub.
(c)
Install the 12 screws removed from the fan exit fairing.

Remove the bolts and washers which hold the gearbox lock to the starter drive pad.
(b)
Remove the gearbox lock.
(c)
Remove the clamp which holds the cover on the end of the start duct.
(d)
Remove the cover from the end of the start duct.
