Disconnect the electrical connector from the pressure switch.

 WARNING:_______DO NOT TOUCH THE OIL SYSTEM PARTS IF THE ENGINE IS HOT. THESE PARTS STAY HOTTER THAN OTHER ENGINE PARTS AFTER AN ENGINE SHUTDOWN. IF YOU TOUCH AN OIL SYSTEM PART WHEN THE ENGINE IS HOT, IT CAN BURN YOU.
 (4)  Disconnect the oil tubes from the pressure switch.
 (a) Disconnect the inlet tube from the pressure switch.

Let any oil in the tube drain into the container.

 (c)  
Discard the O-ring.

 (d)  
Disconnect the outlet tube from the pressure switch.

 (e)  
Let any oil in the tube drain into the container.

 (f)  
Discard the O-ring.

 (5)  Remove the pressure switch.
 (a)  
Remove the bolts and washers (3 locations) that attach the pressure switch to the mounting bracket.

 (b)  
Remove the pressure switch.

 D. Procedure (Fig. 401)
 S 434-014-C00
 (1)  
Remove the protective caps from the oil tubes that attach to the pressure switch.

 S 424-008-C00

 (2)  
Install the pressure switch:

 (a)  
Install the bolts and washers (3 locations) that attach the pressure switch to the mounting bracket on the lubrication unit.

 (b)  
Tighten the bolts.

 (3)  Connect the oil tubes to the pressure switch:
 (a)  
Lubricate two new O-rings with oil.

 (b)  
Install an O-ring on the inlet and the outlet of the pressure switch.
