Switch the CAPACITANCE FUNCTION switch to A/C + PROBE SIM + COMP SIM position.
(n)
Press the OIL QTY TEST switch momentarily and release.
(o)
Adjust the "E" screw to read 0 gallons or liters, if it is necessary.
H. Put the Airplane Back to it Usual Condition

(1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) P6-2 Load Control Center
1) For Engine No. 1:
a) ENG 1 OIL QTY
2) For Engine No. 2:
a) ENG 2 OIL QTY

(2) Disconnect the test set as follows:
(a)
Turn the tester to the OFF position.
(b)
Disconnect the tester from the "T" cable and the airframe ground.
(c)
Disconnect the "T" cable from the oil quantity indicator plug and the airplane electrical connector.

(3)
Connect the electrical connector to the indicator.

(4)
Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
(a) P6-2 Load Control Center
1) For Engine No. 1:
a) ENG 1 OIL QTY
2) For Engine No. 2:
a) ENG 2 OIL QTY

(5)
Make sure the oil quantity indicator reads 4.50 gallons (engine 1) | 1/2 dial division (17.10 liters) and 4.75 gallons (engine 2) | 1/2 dial division (18.05 liters).
(6)
Return the panel lighting to the normal level.
(7)
Remove the power from the airplane, if it is not necessary.

OIL QUANTITY TRANSMITTER - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks. The first task is to remove the oil quantity transmitter. The second task is to install the oil quantity transmitter. The oil quantity transmitter is found in the top of the oil tank on the right side of the engine.
