LOW OIL PRESSURE WARNING SWITCH - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General
_______
 A.  This procedure has two tasks. The first task is the removal of the low oil pressure warning switch. The second task is the installation of the low pressure warning switch.
 B.  The low oil pressure warning switch is installed on the fan case at the 10 o'clock position forward of flange K.

 (1)  Open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
 (a)  P6-3 Load Control Center
 1) MASTER DIM

 (2)  
Open the left fan cowl panel (AMM 71-11-02/201).

 S 034-006-C00

 (3)  
Disconnect the electrical connector from the low oil pressure warning switch.

 (4)  
Disconnect the oil tubes from the pressure switch:


 (a)  Disconnect the elbow from the low oil pressure warning switch.

(b)  
Discard the O-ring.

 (c)  
Disconnect the vent pressure tube from the low oil pressure warning switch.

 (d)  
Discard the O-ring.

 (5)  Remove the pressure switch:
 (a)  
Remove the screws and washers that attach the pressure switch to the mounting bracket.

 (b)  
Remove the pressure switch.

 (c)  
If you will replace the pressure switch, remove and retain the union at each end of the switch.

 (6)  Install protective caps on the ends of the disconnected oil tubes.
