OIL QUANTITY INDICATOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General
_______
 A.  This procedure contains two tasks. The first task is to remove the oil quantity indicator. The second task is to install the oil quantity indicator.
 B.  The oil quantity indicator is found on the pilots center instrument panel, P2. The indicator installs into the panel from the front and is held in position with clamps. The oil quantity indicator is removed for adjustments and replacement.

For the applicable engine, open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:

 (a)  P6-2 Load Control Center
 1) ENG 1 OIL QTY
 2) ENG 2 OIL QTY

 (2)  
Loosen the adjustment screw for the indicator clamp.

 NOTE: The clamp adjustment screw is the larger screw found to the

 (3)  Pull the indicator out from the instrument panel to get access to the electrical connector.

Tighten the adjustment screw for the indicator clamp.
