OIL PRESSURE INDICATOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. This procedure has two tasks. The first task is the removal of the oil pressure indicator. The second task is the installation of the indicator.
B. The oil pressure indicator is located on the pilot's center instrument panel (P2).

(1) For the applicable engine, open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
(a) P6-2 Load Control Center
1) ENG 1 OIL TEMP & PRESS AC
2) ENG 2 OIL TEMP & PRESS AC

(2) Loosen the clamp adjustment screw for the oil pressure indicator on the pilot's center instrument panel (P2).
NOTE: The adjustment screw is the larger screw located above and to
____ the right of the indicator.

(3) Pull the indicator out from the panel so you can get access to the electrical connector.

CAUTION: CROSS CONNECTION OF THE OIL PRESSURE INDICATOR (ON THE P2
_______ INSTRUMENT PANEL) IS A POSSIBILITY WHEN WORKING WITH THIS COMPONENT. CLEARLY IDENTIFY CONNECTIONS BEFORE DISCONNECTING.
(4) Disconnect the electrical connector from the indicator.

CAUTION: CROSS CONNECTION OF THE OIL PRESSURE INDICATOR (ON THE P2
_______ INSTRUMENT PANEL) IS A POSSIBILITY WHEN WORKING WITH THIS COMPONENT. POSITIVELY IDENTIFY CONNECTIONS BEFORE CONNECTING AND FUNCTION CHECK UPON COMPLETION OF CONNECTION.
(1)
Connect the electrical connector to the oil pressure indicator.

Put the indicator in the opening in the pilot's center instrument panel (P2).

Tighten the clamp adjustment screw for the indicator.
